2015 コスタ・ブラウン ピノ・ノワール キーファー・ランチ
2015 Kosta Browne Pinot Noir Keefer Ranch
ワイナリー・ノート
Nose: Very aromatic with blueberry and blackberry on the nose.
Mouth: Full to medium body, tight and linear. Racy and so fine. Tangy acidity with structure and a long finish.

Rust, rock and stone. Blueberry and blackberry. Very aromatic. Full to medium body, tight and linear. Racy and so fine. Tangy acidity. Needs two to three years to soften. But a fascinating wine now to taste. (5/2017)

From a site purchased by the team in 2012, the 2015 Pinot Noir Keefer Ranch comes from the heart of the Green Valley (this is the classic Goldridge soils, as well as smaller amount of clay). Completely destemmed in 2015 and aged 75% in a mix of wood or concrete. Its ruby color is followed by a perfumed, lifted bouquet of caramelized plums, raspberries, flowers, exotic spices and blood orange. Powerful and concentrated, yet still light on its feet and gracefully, with fine tannin and integrated acidity, it’s a seriously good Pinot Noir from this team that’s going to evolve through 2025. The 2015 Pinot Noir Keefer Ranch is a gorgeous and super-expressive wine in which all of the elements come together, unlike some of the other 2015s that are a bit aggressive at this stage, the Keefer is wonderfully expressive, nuanced and inviting. Red fruit, blood orange, mint and sweet spice notes add to the wine's considerable appeal. If I had an opportunity to buy any of these wines, the Keefer would be at or near the top of my list. The 2015 is an especially refined Russian River Pinot. (AG) (8/2017)
