The 2016 CIX exemplifies the precision and quality of our estate vineyard site. Distinctive mineral terroir interlaces a bouquet of baked black cherries, sandalwood incense, and rose tea. Concentrated and elegant on the palate, the vibrant acidity and refined tannins seamlessly combine for a long, lush finish. Suggested drinking window is 2019 through 2030.

Full-bodied, opulent and wonderfully spicy in the mouth, it has a solid frame of firm and grainy tannins with a seamless acid line and a very long, decadent finish. This wine was bottled in June 2017.
