The 2022 Larry Hyde and Sons perfectly showcases the richness of the 2022 vintage, with flashy aromas of fresh yellow peach and citron oil leaping from the glass. Wildflower honey, marmalade, and lemongrass notes add layers of floral complexity and sweetness reflective of its Carneros terroir. A rich, oily mouthfeel is perfectly balanced by a refreshing streak of acidity that lingers across the palate. Enjoy over the next 10 years. There’s so much sliced lime and green apple with hints of toasted oak and salt water taffy. Full-bodied with a solid texture and well-integrated phenolics that give such great length and focus. Fluid and so attractive on the palate. Delicious now, but will show more complexity with age.
