The attractive, shimmering yellow-gold 2022 ‘Ma Belle-Fille’ showcases a captivating fragrance of peach blossoms, white roses, yellow spring flowers and orange zest, framed by hints of marzipan, vanilla custard and fresh cream. This is a well-defined, structured Chardonnay with layers of texture that build through the late mid-palate and into a beautiful, balanced and lengthy finish. The 2022 ‘Ma Belle-Fille’ shows superb intensity, tension and balance.

I tasted the 2022 Chardonnay Ma Belle Fille from tank just before it
was due to be bottled. It's dynamic and detailed on the nose, with top
notes of crème brûlée, pie crust, cardamom and flint accenting a deep
core of spicy white peach and candied lemon. The medium-bodied palate is
effortlessly balanced, its concentrated, creamy stone fruit enlivened
by a focused spine of acidity. Its lightly satiny texture coats the
palate and extends the finish, which is defined by a flourish of spicy
